Welcome to Round Valley School District, one of the most wonderful small districts in California. Round Valley School is a place where we focus on the whole child, where we value personal achievement both in and outside the classroom. It has been said by many parents that Round Valley Elementary School is a place where a kid can still be a kid.
Round Valley Joint Elementary School District is a one-school district located at the base of the beautiful eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains. We are a small and rural school district on Highway 395 midway between Reno, Nevada and Los Angeles, California. Somewhat geographically isolated, we are located within Inyo County, 12 miles north of Bishop, California.
Round Valley School was established in 1871, and enjoys a rich history with many traditions. Family involvement is encouraged and valued in our community. Recognized as a California Distinguished School in 1997, Round Valley School is dedicated to promoting high academic standards. Round Valley is a school district of choice, and many of our family come from outside our district boundaries.
